If you are looking for a lovely wine bar with fabulous prices in Taipei, try the Wine Shop at 21 Lane 346 of South Guang Fu Road in the Daan District. I had a midnight bottle of Alvaro Palacios' 2008 Bierzo Petalos with Dominique Levy from Formosa after the tasting…for less than €20 with full service at a window table. I was tempted to order as an encore the 2006 Nebbiolo San Francesco from Roberto Voerzio for very little more, but for once reason took the upper hand. Comments
