 I tasted the 2010 G, a South Africa blend of the usual culprits from Denis Dubourdieu and Giorgia dalla Cia - remember Rubicon from Meerlust? - at the fair in Hong Kong yesterday. Although it will retail at some €40 in Europe, that is still 'only' half the price of some of the other fine wines from the Cape of Good Hope that I know, but will such wines go the way of all the Cabernet and Merlot from the Maremma in Italy or take on a life of their own.
