 I am often impressed at not only how professional, but also how knowledgeable some Asian sommeliers can be, especially given the fact that few of them have had the opportunity to travel as widely as their European counterparts. At a Pio Cesare presentation at the Intercontinental near the COEX, I met their sommelier Kyung-ja (Corinne) Eom. Young, intense and highly focused, she appears to have the "right stuff".
