 Indonesia is a rapidly changing market and, at least compared to Malaysia, offers a more 'Californian' interpretation of Muslim. There, the energy of young importers like Dandy Widjaja from DwiMitra and his French colleague, Baldwin Jehanoo, is invigorating. Dandy's father owned a karaoke bar. He rose via spirits and then fast cars to his current interest, wine, even those from Greece! Baldwin married an Indonesian woman that he met in Shanghai and has come here to seek new horizons. What men won't do for women? Do we not say that the road to hell is paved with good intentions? In any case, it is hot here…and humid. Comments
